(1)-(3) I thank the Leader of the Opposition for his question on electricity. As I have said before —

The SPEAKER: Leader of the Opposition!

Mr C.J. BARNETT: Normally, a question is asked and I get to answer it. That is the way that Parliament is meant to work.

Several members interjected.

Mr C.J. BARNETT: I was asked by a senior citizen this morning, “Why don’t you improve your behaviour in Parliament?” I am trying hard, we on this side are trying hard, and members opposite should try their best.

Mr B.S. Wyatt: Go join the senior!

The SPEAKER: Member for Victoria Park, I suggest you keep your comments limited to political discussions in this place. I formally call you for the first time.
