92. Hon SUE ELLERY to the Leader of the House representing the Premier:

I refer to the document titled “Treasurer’s Advance Authorisation Bill 2010: Details of Excesses and New Items
for the 2009–10 Financial Year”, item 4, “Escalation of Core business”.

(1) What is the explanation for a 92 per cent increase in complaints?

(2) Is the increase in complaints in a particular category or categories of complaints; and, if so, which ones?

Hon NORMAN MOORE replied:

(1)–(2) The member has been advised that the Premier was unable to sign off in the time available today. But I
am also aware that there will be a price to pay for that.

Hon Sue Ellery: You betcha!

Hon Norman Moore: So don’t threaten me again.

Hon SUE ELLERY: Do not invite us to ask questions on notice and then not provide the answers!
